The original Shaker village site and buildings have been restored and all buildings are open to the public. The tours of the buildings and gardens are self guided but “mini tours” (ie. the gardens) are available at specific times during the day.. The Village Harvest Café serves lunch or you can bring your own picnic. The museum gift shop features Shaker food and items, including the famous Shaker oval boxes. The bus will depart from the Library at 9 am and leave the Village between 2:30 and 3:00.. The cost of the trip is $37.00 (includes the bus and entrance to the Village). Lunch is “on your own”.
